Winnie the Pooh clothes
MEMORIES:
Pooh Corner – it’s more than a storybook locale. The yellow bear with the red vest and the hankering for “hunny” jumped out of his bedtime books and fastened himself onto a line of children’s wear.
The pot-bellied teddy bear and his storybook friends adorned pajamas and fleece jogging sets, scarves and hats, dresses and pinafores, scarves and hats and other winter wear, and even shoes. In any season, just about any part of a kid’s body could be proudly showing off his or her favorite Pooh character.
The clothes were made tough, for playtime, and came in bold patterns and bright colors that appealed to kids. Snuggled up in your Winnie the Pooh wear, you felt like you really were in Pooh Corner, even after the story was over.
