Seating Arrangement
My classroom was set up like this in the 5th grade.

MEMORY:

I was in the 5th grade and our teacher initially allowed us to sit where we wanted, that is until math. My teacher's name was Mr. Brown. There were six desks (together) in 4 rows. Whenever we had a math test Mr. Brown would pull the desk apart insuring that no one would look on the other's test paper. Afterwards, when the class had finished Mr. Brown would of course collect the papers and grade them while the class quietly conversed with one another. When Mr. Brown had completed grading, he would tell us are grade. He gave us the option of hearing our grade out loud or coming up to his desk to view it. Those of us who had an A, he would move us to the front row, those of us who had a B would move to the second row and so on. I would always be in the A-B range. He was a great teacher.
