Dungeons & Dragons

I started playing Dungeon and Dragons in the late 80's, my friend who was younger than me started playing some years earlier, he talked to me about it, but I was into video games, and thought sitting around with a piece of paper, while someone tells you what was happening was sort of stupid, he finally talked me into playing when he went to college and got into a group there, first time I played was with the Ravenloft module, and it was great, we played this over a whole summer and had about 10 people or more playing at a time.

A couple of the guys we played with went on to work for the now defunct TSR after they got out of college, he went on to be vice president of a small independent role playing game company, they put out a few games, superheroes mainly, on the Champions style gameplay.
